I See A Cat...

Nothing like sitting in my office and hearing several dozen barking Squirrels....It can only mean hey see a snake, a dog or a cat.....or that their feed is running low.

This time it was a passing cat, he was gone quickly, I guess the chattering drove him crazy too?
Regards

What's that coming down the trail?

Yep, damn cat!

Otis claims it is not the chattering that drives them off, but his "Awesome Presence".......

Rupert, I guess you could call them "Watch Squirrels". The ground squirrels we have in the desert make a very high whistle type signal to warn of danger. Is that what you are referring to when they bark? Bob

Loco, yes, those tails flicker all around when they get excited!

Bob, the noise they make is different. Puff your cheeks full of air, holding your lips together. Then with fingers on both sides of your cheeks quickly tap to force out air through your tight lips rapidly in little spurts....there you have it! That is what they sound like....all except Otis, he just curses like a drunk sailor!

Best Regards!
