Architecture Old houses in old street

Hello folks.

A few photos taken this time in the street I currently live in, before an upcoming move back to the "new world". The dilapidated house on the first photo was built in 1625, so just about 40 years before my own house. The street has a number of historically protected houses from the early 1600s, some from the 16th century.

You know, I quickly got weary of the "computer game" look of HDR when it became the rage, but this one makes me to do some rethinking. These look wonderful to me - surreal but not unreal (if that makes any sense). The images also are beautifully composed and visualized.

Very nice series, The HDR is well controlled, could be a little more subtle but still it seems to suit the images well. Fantastic range of colours.
