Dowitcher
Lens: Pentax DA* 50-135 Camera: K5 ISO: 50 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F4.5

This is a new bird to me and I was told it is a Dowitcher but didn't know if it was a long-billed or a short-billed. We are getting a lot of different species in right now and through the next few month. I am relatively new to this but I am trying. ISO was actually 640 but there is no setting for that.
How you enjoy.

Best guess:

Long-billed Dowitcher
Limnodromus scolopaceus

By the coloring I'm guessing this shot was taken on the West Coast or not too far inland.

Nice clear shot.

Glad to share Ash and thank you. The DA* 50-135 delivered on this one ( of course the ISO capablity of the K5 didn't hurt either ). I am glad the Dowitcher let me get so close.
