VT Flooding part 3

Happy Mothers Day to you all.

After a wonderful brunch, my significant other, my children and I all took a walk on the Burlington waterfront. The day was beautiful, and many hopes the excess water dries up quickly.

Photo 1: The water is typically a few feet down from the platform of the fishing pier. In the distance is a lighthouse but noticeably absent is the breakwater which used to stand several feet above the surface.

Photo 2: Parking lot

Photo 3: Park near the lake is flooded and I'm pretty sure those buoys were not placed there on purpose.

Photo 4: Makeshift bridge through a parking lot.

Photo 5: Breakwaters Cafe & Grill and the parking lot which is now covered.

Can't stop the forces of nature.
Hope the damage was minimal.

Reminds me of the Japan Tsunami. Hope all is well.
