I have a lot of birds around here, but don't shoot them too often. I have found that the K5 + Bigma stopped down a little will give me the best detail. Stopping down is easy enough with the K5 since the ISO will still give decent results when pushed up by the K5 in the Tav mode.

Why I had rather shoot Squirrels....they will pose where you tell them to, are easily bribed, and I speak their language.

Thanks Bob! Yes, the birds are sloppy pig eaters! Otis complains about them eating up all the birdseed and making a big mess.
He has been asking if I will order him a BB gun.......no, I won't.
