The 2nd photo is ruined by the person. She adds nothing to it. The abutting photos, although very nice, are ruined by whatever image processing you've done to them. They're blurry in a digitized way, and seem to be on the edge of posterization.

Mischivo, you are a sour pompous ass. This is a sharing forum, if you want to critique comment in the critique forum. Shoo fly.

Nice series Norm, I especially like the photo with the pretty lady taking a photo, nice catch, pretty colors.

Tess, I agree with you completely and that is how the majority of the members on this forum believe also. Bob

Bob, I would have (should have) bit my tongue and let it pass, but I was already so annoyed with insolent comments left on others photos by the time I got to this I was seeking Troll Revenge. (thanks for the support though!)

I have no Idea why I was set on 50 ISO, but usually, as long as there is enough light, the lower the ISO the less noise (or in the old days, the lower the ISO the less grain.) I think 50ISO is the default setting if you don't put anything in, and if I have two pictures at different ISOs in the same post, I don't put anything in. My K20d, for noise, I don't like going over 200 ISO, however tessfully's K-x is good to 800 ISO. It's really quite dependent on the sensor and the internal processing of the camera. Anyone who wants to chirp in about the highest ISO they are comfortable shooting at , jump right in.

I've rechecked the metadata and the ISO's on those shots are 100 and 200. I have a hard time convincing myself to go over 200 on my K20D in unless I absolutely can't get the shot any other way.

A very colorful series Norm.Mischivo's criticisms are always over the top.Looking at his avatar he doesn't look like the type of person to go out and have a few laughs with.He has to live his own life inside his head. What a ride that must be.--charliezap

Thanks guys, I didn't pay any attention to mishivo cause, 1 I was out on a trip with a client, and 2 , what he said didn't make any sense. With a name like mishivo, just an AH engaging in his idea of fun.

I hope he had a blast. But his criticism was so off base, it wasn't possible to give him any credibility. He knows nothing. He just tried to pick a few concepts off the web and then tried to apply them. I don't think he quite has them down yet. Or to quote Andre the Giant from the Princess bride. " I don't think you know what that word means. I don't think you are using it correctly."

Blurry in a digitized way my blurry in a digitized way @ss.
