I love adding dramatic look to photos like Roman fresco, etc... Here a trial for texturizing a portrait. Hope you'll like it. If anyone has got some competance on the issue, I'll be happy to receive some tips...

I like that one....nothing wrong with playing either! On a rainy day I can spend hours just playing with photos with various programs. I'm not so good at it, but it is still fun!

Here are two I did in PhotoScape....a free program that has a lot of usable and fun features.

Printed on canvas paper, they turn out quite nicely!

Best Regards & post more of what you get while playing, I'm always interested!

I like that one even better. Maybe the top right of the hat is a little too much blur? Otherwise, very nice!
Regards!

I think the skin tone and texture of the first image is very special

However, I can't say I like the background as it seems to take away from the immersion of the image. Then again... who's to say this isn't want you wanted. - anyways, that's what came to my mind when I first saw it.

Love the subject and pose though, definitely something to work with there imo,

Yep, like that one too! Just a slight too much red on my screen, but it could be "in the translation" to internet viewing.
Best Regards!

Another PhotoScape processed image....

Nice treatment of these photos Rupert! I agree, sometimes it is fun to work with the "old" print types.
