Only about ten feet away from this guy, shooting through a lot of branches, etc.

Love the feather detail and the eyes, wow, the concentration on the birds face and in her eyes is palpable.

Thanks for the nice comments. There are a lot of people there this time of year, the wildlife gets a little used to it and less jumpy, it's a lot easier to get close once they get conditioned to people.

Really nice photo Tom. I've gotten close to my birds at times, and mainly because they are so used to people being around. I was about 6 feet away from my last Greenie shot but I didn't get the shot you just did. Well, done!!
