Nature Blue faced honeyeater

Blue-faced honeyeater (entomyzon cyanotis), also called banana bird. We had not seen some in our garden for a few years, and recently a couple of banana birds are feeding regularly in our trees. Lovely bird with nice colours.

I know that I need to control better the ISO and this was a lesson learned with that lens for that type of shot.

Not bad for a wide open result from this lens.
There's some noise in this image that may have been from boosting exposure in PP. Was it underexposed when shot?

Thanks for the feedback.

The picture is a crop from one of my first shots with the FA*300mm f4.5. I found that I must control the ISO manually for the better results. The K-7 tends to jump the ISO to 800 or more with that lens (compared to my other lenses).

I also did minimum PP with PDCU: a bit of noise reduction.

Pretty bird Hubert, hope you get a chance at him as you get to know the lens better, but not bad.
