Single portrait
Lens: 85mm Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Studio ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F11

Haven't had much opportunity to work the K-5 lately, but I did manage to squeeze in a few shots today to try keep the eye from drying out. Not much to add here other than a good crop. However the K-5 is proving to be extremely versatile in the studio. And processing is akin to the A900 of the olden days. And I have to say... it is nice to be working at the pixel level again.

Wow, that eye! Did you smoothen the skin a bit?

My wife did the make-up
But in post, I didn't do any smoothing other than pixel touch-ups(imperfections etc)

Wonderful - reminds of the sort of image that would adorne the cover of a jazz album in the '60s.

Can't see the image you've posted John (damn firewall issues where I am) but I'd sure love to.

Nicely done! You must have PP the eye a bit too, right? Very eye-catching...
