Byron Bay, NSW Australia (6 photos)

Here's some recent photos I took whilst on a holiday to Byron Bay. It wasn't a specific photography trip, but I did manage to drag myself out of bed on a couple of mornings to take some snaps. The panoramic image of the beach actually made it into Flickr Explore My own fav was of the fisherman but as usual the pics I like best don't seem to do that well on flickr, and some of the one I almost chuck away end up doing well

#1 (DA15 stitched pano)

#2 (DA*50-135)

#3 (DA15)

#4 (DA*50-135)

#5 (DA15)

All of them very nice images but I do love the fisherman. Thanks for posting them.

What a gorgeous set Twitch. I'm sure I've seen these before on another forum but it's worth commenting again and there are a couple of new ones here - I loved the Fisherman the first time round but #3 is incredibly dramatic and beautiful and is my favourite.

Byron Bay - I remember I saw watching Jeff Lang here in Shanghai at the World Expo last year and he performed a set including the song Byron Bay - I bought one of his albums on-line. Good stuff indeed.

I have to agree with Henrich. They are all great but the fisherman is awesome. JIM

Number 5 is best. I really love the color and composition.

Thanks. I certainly worked hardest for #5, I spend a good 40 minutues capturing different versions of just that scene, in the end it didn't work out quite as well as I'd hoped but I think it's still OK. My experience with shot #5 has made me want a graduated ND filter, but that's a whole rabbit hole in itself...

Very nice Twitch. A beautiful part of our country, and you've done it justice with your work here.
Love the DA 15 pano and the fisherman.
Thanks for sharing these fine images.
