1st Day on the Lake
Camera: K5 Photo Location: Lytle Creek, CA ISO: 200

The first one is an American Coot, recognizable because of the red spot between their eyes. The common Coot does not have that spot.

Nice shots Bob.I think that I'm going to call Adorama this week and get the Pentax 100mm WR.I'm going to wait a bit on the K5.--charliezap

thanks so much for the information, I asked around here at the campground and they said they were "mud hens", so I knew there must be another name, Bob

Charlie, I have the 50mm f/2.8 macro and it is a great lens, but i think I should of gone with the 100mm WR macro, it really has gotten some great reviews.Bad deal with the 50mm is you have to get real close. thanks for the comment. Bob

Lighting is tough on a very sunny day and a white goose, I was very surprised it turned out as well as it did. thanks for the comment which is always appreciated. Bob
