I'll bee right here (I'm not yeatzee)
Lens: Micro 200 Camera: D700 ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F32

I wish I had time to set up some lighting, but I was worried the little bugger would fly off. Managed to throw a Nikon 4T close-up filter on the Micro 200 and snap a couple before he was off.

It's funny, I wasn't completely happy with these, but I was ok with them. Then I went in to post and saw yeatzee's fly and felt emasculated.

Yeah. I was on the patio and saw him chillin. I ran in and slapped a lens and filter on and shot before he could get away. It was around 12:00, so our patio was in the shade. To get f32, I had to shoot at ISO 3200.

Well I'd say thats pretty good exposure for natural light! Good balance considering the black subject and white background.

Thanks. Macro is a new concept to me, so I'm trying to expand my horizons and learn as much as I can. Doing single exposures for now. Once I understand how to compose and light, I'll try stacking. It'll be a long process since I have my day job and then photo gigs here and there on the weekend.

I'll just e-stalk your Flickr to stay motivated and get ideas.
