Awesome shot.

I love spiders.

In fact, it would be neat if someone started a "show me your spiders" thread.

Lovely... you got the focus in exactly the right spot. Wonderful droplets on the web.

I just started a show-us-your-spiders thread for EddyinGA, you should add this to it, then all our spiders will be in one, creepy place!

Very cool! It's a banana spider (but not the poisonous kind) They are scary looking, though! Two of them kept the front of my parents relatively mosquito and gnat free this summer! Here is a picture of it:

They are the largest non-tarantula's - and (slightly) poisonous. Not enough to kill, and they are passive.

Thanks, Ari. I'm not very good at IDs so I appreciate you letting me know what it is. It did look a little scary, although it really wasn't that big.
