This thread marks the final series from my South East Asian travels. The first three parts of the Pattaya series are here: Pattaya, Thailand (Part I) - PentaxForums.com, Pattaya, Thailand (Part II) - PentaxForums.com and Pattaya, Thailand (Part III) - PentaxForums.com

Pattaya was pretty, lively and colourful by night

By day, it's more laid back and relaxing:

One thing I like about this forum, is visiting cities and areas through the lens of Pentax owners that I would never get to visit. Thanks Ash for a great series and wonderful photography and taking us with you. Bob

Yes, I agree with Bob. - it's been a very interesting succession of series ! I like #1 above (did you use fill flash or is that ambient light on the boat in the foreground) ? However #2 is my favourite - good vision and a very interesting and well taken shot !

Thanks to you both.
It has been an enlightening trip, with lots of highlights at each stop to reflect back on.

The foreground boats in #1 were ambiently lit by distant street lighting, requiring a long exposure - so the boats aren't sharply rendered as a result.

And after all that frivolity, we sailed away into the sunset...

What fun it is to see such beatiful pictures of another place. Great job, as always, Ash.

Thanks Jer.
These have been places I would recommend for a once-in-a-lifetime visit.
