What PP techniques were used for that last photo? A Pentax friend of mine uses that effect quite often and I haven't ever bothered to ask him what he does...

Thanks Guys, I used a plug in call ReDynamix for both images. I really like the controls that it puts in there and the HDR type rendering you can get out of a single image if you didn't have bracketed shots for a real HDR conversion.

These heavy cruisers are great looking ships, but not nearly as impressive as those BBs were. I'm hoping to get some really good shots of Wisconsin now that I'm living here in Norfolk.

Thanks Dave, I'm glad you liked the shots. The sky was not helping that day so I decided to get a little creative with these and add some affect.

Great composition and I like the PP you've chosen. Some constructive criticism: There are some dustspots left in the second photo. Also, there are haloes visible around objects you've lightened up where the sky is also lighter (the cannons in the first picture and the bridge in the second).

I'm still an active duty ABE (Aviation Boatswains Mate (Equipment) Operator). One more year and I retire!!!
