Wandered today

I went out wandering again today with my camera. Played with an old 50mm lens off my K1000 a bit, mostly used my 80-320 though and just plain had fun.

This is the slough I was wandering around today...

Shrivelled berries...

A fungus...

Kind of a moody shot of some moss...

A chickadee....

A squirrel...

A fun shot of a chickadee taking off...

And an advertisement for my camera???

I like the second shot, and all teh animal shots as well.

However I have a question for you Scott.

How on earth did you photograph your camera

I thought that I knew most of the tricks and I still can't use my camera to photograph it's self

(except in the mirror)

Although I got a few photos of the medium format I'm using today.

Thanks guys, somehow it's just plain fun to wander about the bush quietly seeing what you can see and relaxing. Heading out this a.m. to look at camera backpacks, my little pack just doesn't hold enough it seems.

Scott, the moss shot I like quite a bit. The gradient of dark to light sets the tone, and the focus on the lower part of the moss makes it seem like it's reaching out to grab you. I wonder how a slightly tighter crop with the in focus part of the moss a bit more centered would look. Fine work.

Beautiful shots, particularly like the wildlife. Bird on Camera.. great, love the originality. How many of us carry a second camera for just such an opportunity.

Nice shots Scott, I especially like the first and the shelf fungus. I did exactly the same thing myself this morning. Hopefully I'll to process them tonight.
