Everyone - I have modified this sunset photo using your suggestions and my concepts of how it should look. I am pretty happy with the result, what do you all think? Better?

I like it; much more emphasis on the parts that count. Somehow I think bigger would be a lot better than PC monitor sized. Takes a while for the eyes to adjust to the details in the left sunny area--very interesting.

Very nice colour and layout. I think the crop you have in this version works very well.

I think so too - last night I was trying to get my wife to agree to print it on canvas in this format for one of our bedroom walls - not sure she agrees yet. At least she hasn't disagreed . . . .
