Thanks Bob, Its a big dfference going from Seattle to a high desert. I love the area though. I was going to visit Yellowstone but the road/weather conditions changed those plans.
Anyway, there is an area about 20 miles from where my sone lives that one can most always spot some wild mustangs. The white young foal was icing on the cake though.

Thanks Ash, I appreciate the comment. I have a few more photos of wild mustangs and I will post them together after I have a little more time of resting from the travel and do some processing. I just couldn't wait to share this one.

I feel the same way and especially seeing a pure white foal.
Thank you for looking Dave.

Hi hcarvalhoalves, yes it is a wild mustang from a herd about 20 miles outside Cody Wyoming going east on Greybull Hwy. I have more photos I am going to share but for now heres a photo of the foal nursing and a battle scarred stallion.

I like the last shot, interesting to see this animal in raw shape, scars and everything. That's one animal you usually only see domesticated and well cared.

Freedom does have a price. But the battle scarred stallion probably had quit a harem in his younger years.

One more to share. I think this one is one of my favorites because of the great light.
