Hi Heinrich,
I've been away pretty much myself, just started posting here again. I really like the first shot for it's drama, but I think the third is my favorite, nice and calm and peaceful. The waves are nice too.

nice

I can't imagine why you didn't get responses first time around, but I guess people are just busy some times. As I see your images, I am reminded of my own visit to the Lake Superior area this summer. We cottaged in Goulais River and drove up along the Trans Canada just high enough to get into Lake Superior Provincial Park.

My favourite in the sequence is photo four. Seeing the RV included in your shot is a fitting reflection of the area and the incredible number of trailers one encounters on any given day.

Thanks for sharing.

I must have missed the last ones. These look quite good. I really love the last one with the waves on the beach. Good work.

I can almost smell the water in no. 5. Boy, I miss the sea.

No's. 2 and 3 are also great!

Heinrich,

Went back and looked at the other ones () and they weren't bad at all. They had quite lovely tones even if the scenery was not quite as exciting as the Rockies were.

On these, nice images, sharp and scenic. Always nice to see where you were and to share in some of the sunshine that your images so greatfully spread.

Stephen

Sorry Heinrich, I missed your previous post.
As always, beautifully captured. The first shot is spectacular.

Hi Heinrich,

Its funny because Airdrie is probably named after Airdrie here in Scotland, they have a average football team!

Anyway there are some nice photos there, particularly like the 1st and 5th for the content, composition, exposure and colour. 2nd,3rd and 4th seem a bit overexopsed (sky i meen). Hope that helps

Very nice scenes Heinrich I like the third one and the first too, if I had to pick. The forum has really picked up in the last year, it's hard to keep up sometimes (good thing I guess)

Living on the coast as I do, the last shot is my favorite. It appears as three equal lateral stripes of color. I love the positioning of the horizon and the way in which you captured the breaking surf. Great work.

Hello Heinrich, of the set I particularly like the last. Very deep colours, I too reckon you can almost smell the sea. I am only 5 mins from the sea and a lot of my shots are taken there, so I am particularly partial to sea shots.
Very well done!!

#2 and #3 are my favs, Heinrich - I love roadways that disappear off into the picture somewhere - and the lone tree against the lake is a great composition.
