Well having returned to Greenland a good week ago and had a combination of blizzards and føhn winds to keep me company, well this weekend the weather finally cleared up. the last round of Føhn wind took out most of the snow, but hey I think this is what you would define as white autumn.

so here you go three photos from this afternoon:

Weather on this beautiful day -7.5C and pretty darn windy

... What an amazing day out.

Yeah it has become rather chilly up here... nothing like the great day and evening we had in New York.

The twig is actually a piece of Steel wire, but yeah it should be cloned out. thanks for reminding me.

No it is actually land ice and a leftover from the latest Fohn wind.

We do not get sea ice on this side of Nuuk, the fiord is just over 300 meters deep and the currents are too strong for the ice to settle, however water temperature is more or less constant around 2-3C all year...

Gorgeous images Thomas, makes me homesick for the North. We lived for 16 years in the Yukon.

Having spend a good two years up here, I doubt I could ever move too far south.
I love the light in this part of the world.
