It was a drismal weekend here outside of Boston but I still managed to get some shots around the home front with the new 100mm macro lens. The left shot is normal and the right was processed by the k20d.--charliezap

I prefer the unfiltered - maybe since the filtered one is a bit too saturated?

Unfiltered. The texture sort of takes away from the color pattern.

Most of the time it all depends on the picture itself as to what effect looks best .I myself don't know which clothespin pic I prefer. The lobster boats shot is one of my favorites when I started playing with the filter effect mode.---charliezap[IMG][/IMG]

Charlie, the lobster boat photo effect is great, I have processed several in camera, but looking at the 3 inch camera screen for me it hard to see what the end results are. Bob

What you might want to do Bob if you don't like the way it looks on the screen is do the same thing again to the one that you already did.It enhances the enhancement.Once you download to the computer you will get a feel for what the k20 processor can do in its various filter modes.---charliezap

Thanks Charlie, the K-5 does have a lot of digital filters and modes that can be applied to each photo, just take a little time to getting used to doing it. Oh, the Stanly Cup starts in a little bit, game #7, the Big one. Bob
