My Father's Day gift choices!!!!
Posted By: charliezap, 06-18-2011, 09:36 AM

My great wife says that I have been a great husband and father and everyone is chipping in to get me a lens of my choosing.I've narrowed it down to two choices and need some help from my fellow Pentaxians to help me decide. It's either the Canon 1200mm 5.6L or the Sigma APO 200-500 2.8. Decisions--Decisions
BTW--Enjoy Father's Day.--charliezap

You'd need to get an adapter for the first one. If you want to go big, why not just stick with Pentax?

Only problem with this lens, you would need a truck with it loaded on for it to be mobile

I woke up early and scampered to the "Fathers Day Tree" and there was no lens there. The day is young--maybe at the cookout this afternoon there will be a little something there for me.--charliezap

Yeah, I'd take the woman. You can always pick up a lens at a later time. Nice of your wife to offer!
