I've devised a new way of working with images. In this series I combine household objects with pre-existing photos in order to short-circuit expectation.

Very interesting work Robin! I am not too impressed with the 2nd picture, but the other ones I like a lot.

Cool work Robin.

In some of the images the items interact rather better than in other - for example #2 would have been great had there been a 'rip' in the sky or if the teardrop in #4 had been interacting with the people in the poster. That's why #1, 3 & 5 work best for me.

Good to hear the reasons and preferences. I wasn't actually thinking of making these full-fledged surrealist collages, but maybe I should. I didn't think much of the relationships between objects and images, or want to make them too obvious. All the titles came after the fact and maybe they are the problem, since they are so direct.
