I think I may have been near that stretch of water

A couple of years ago, I went to Searcy, AR to fly fish for trout. I can't remember if we fished the Little Red or White (or maybe both). We stopped by a bait & tackle place that rents johnboats and they had a fiberglass mount of the world record brown trout. Man, that thing looked like a hog with fins! Wonderful fishing and beautiful country. Thanks for the picture!

Nice shot! From my NW Arkansas perspective, seems like the Arkansas Fall color has been spotty this year.

Yeah, ol Rip Collins caught that record brown. When he died, they buried him in his waders!

Beautiful shot ecce38,

If the flyfishing bug ever brings you up to British Columbia I hope that you let me know.
I'd see if I could meet up with you and toss a few myself.

a fine, fine photograph.

I've said it before and will again: Man Dwarfed by his Environement.

As a subject, it is about power: who has it?

The composition is fine, colours natural and appealing. The only minor criticism, probably I would crop out the tree branches intruding at left: their depth of field in the picture plane is amateurish.

A beautiful photo that conveys what fishing is all about. The beautiful river, the stillness and the lone fisherman. I feel sorry for the people who have not experienced the feeling.

Cheers
