what was your time of exposure set to?
thank you.
exposure time was around 90 seconds in the first and 30 seconds in the second.
Originally posted by G M Fude I thought the first shot was good, then I scrolled down to the second one. Wow, what a sense of drama you've got in that composition, it's actually quite unsettling. Awesome colours and beautiful photos... as usual!
Scott, you'll find that Thomas includes the Exif data in shots. I use the
FxIF add-on in Firefox to read the data, but there are many alternatives.
Thank you.
Glad you like what I do.
I aim my auroras towards being more than just an aurora photo. glad it seems to work.
exifs are as you mention always included with my photos, actually most for my own sake, but also because it may be useful to some...
Originally posted by scott-devon Beautiful shots, the second one is really dramatic. The first I like a lot though, the playground equipment looks so alien in that shot, very cool.
thank you Scott.
I thought it would look great, glad it worked.

My photos of it are getting better, but nothing will ever come close to seeing it live.
