Hello there, I'm still coming to grips with my new camera so here's one from tonight. I wanted to photograph something industrial. I used the Pentax 16-45mm f4 lens & K10D. I guess it'll take me a week or two to get used to the different settings and stuff on the new camera.

Hopefully, it won't take that long to get used to how to get images to display on the forum. <smiley goes here>

I don't see anything.

But you do now don't you!! Sorry about that, I left the file type off my first post but have added it now. It took me a few seconds to make the fix.

Beautiful image. Stunning. I like the blue cast on the whole building itself.

Ah, yes! That's the ticket!

A very well done photo. I like that industrial sort of stuff. Is that part of a refinery or some sort of chemical plant?

Hmmm, Chemicals hey! I think that would be right. I might go back there tomorrow night and try to photograph the huge silos on site. It was difficult however to capture the entire facility because of the unwanted clutter on the road partially blocking my view. The idea is to capture a massive lightning bolt over the facility and then sell them the photo.

We have a massive natural gas plant down the road to that exports all around the world so as part of my industrial pics I might try and photograph that as well. Sometimes if you're lucky the boats with those huge domes come in to drop off the gas and they turn on the release valves which sends a huge flame out.
