Macro Long time since last post

Hi everyone,
I was not really into photography this last 6 months for personal reasons, but I decided to get back into. Here are some of my recent shots. I appreciate any comments on my photos.

A great series of Macro shots, crisp sharp focus, good lighting and vivid colours, you couldn't ask for more! Well done.

Yes, the Pentax Blue looks great - great pics overall....

1st and 2nd shots work well as bug macros because you have really taken portraits of the bugs. You can see their eyes, "faces", and what they are doing (eating). You have placed the DOF where it should be. In addition, 2nd shot is very well composed and is with the head against the white background very good. I'd cut a bit of the empty upper part of the 1st shot so that you get the head of the bug close to the golden ratio. In both cases you show that you have come beyond when you are just happy to get any part of the bug in focus. Well done!
