I was outside today playing around with an A-50/1.7 + Vivitar 2X MC Macro Convertor when along came a young squirrel.
So, I threw him some peanut butter crackers and made friends with him. And though this wasn't the ideal lens for the occasion(focusing distance etc). I figured I'd see what I could get away with just the same. (Taken handheld)

PS. I've never seen this little guy around the house before. And he had no fear of people.
However... we have a herd of cats that come here several times per day to feed and bask in the sun.
And so my guess is that this was the first and last we will see of this little guy

Anyways, for what it's worth, I think the SMC-A 50/1.7 + Vivitar 2X Macro MC TC make a pretty decent pair.
Though I would need to run more tests with this combo to come to any useful conclusions.
