Nice colouring on this insect and you got the focus just right.

I am just getting into macro also, very nice focus. He looks a little bit nasty with the coloring. thanks Bob

These are beautiful little bugs indeed. The pitch black and bright red isn't photoshopped, this is actual colour.

Aperture is 4. The sweetspot of the DA 35 ltd.

And the background is just a simpel sheet of a green paper. My two flashes are giving it the gradient effect. No intention here, just pure luck.
