Lubber Grasshopper

I took this the day I got the camera. Did not know what I was doing but thought this was pretty good under those circumstances. Can't wait to get into all the features of the camera. Lots of reading to do. Huge manual.
Pic was taken on Macro mode.

Just a word of advice if you want it, a slightly increased depth of field would improve this shot in my humble opinion and bring more of the insect into sharp focus allowing for more detail to be seen. Other than that it is a good shot.
