Robert inspired me

Robert posted some photo done with this technique and I found it very interesting. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Killer Tips Video - Surreal Edgy Effect

The colors are not meant to be accurate but more like a painting. I did 17 images in this style and am trying to decide if this process works on any of them. Mind taking a look and giving your opinion?

It's a very interesting effect. Sort of makes me wonder if the GIMP can do something similar.

I like DSCN0220_2 the best.

Nice shots Ken. I find the pp effect only works well with certain shots. ..Robert

I'm not exactly sure of the technique you speak off but the results are very interesting. In any case, it gave me an opportunity to see some amasing harbour shots.

Hi Robert,
You are right about it only working well with certain shots. It can easily be over used. I'm still trying to decide which shots I've posted need to be deleted. There are several things I haven't bothered to photograph because I didn't think they would look that great but think this process could make them very interesting.

Regards,

Ken
