That really is a trip back in time! A classic old building (playing a modern Aussie film though, I notice). I prefer the original shot, as a slice of history.

I lived and studied in Pasadena for many years and just recently moved a little bit aways. The first film I ever saw in this theater was "The Story of Ricky Oh". It's a classic cult 1970's Kung-Fu film that is just hilarious if you like really really bad/cheesy kung-fu movies. It has the classic scene from ESPN when a guy's head gets punched and explodes. It's one of the few truly gory kung-fu movies. Anyway, jgredline are you from Pasadena too?
