Hi Bob,

Sorry for the very delayed reply.

The sauce is peanut sauce for the " satay" or Malay kebabs just like the middle eastern kind. Not too spicy but great for accompanying the satay. Usually have pork, chicken, mutton or beef as the main types of meat found in Malaysia and Singapore.
