Almost Home!
Lens: Rokinon 8mm Camera: K5 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F5.6

Hope to get back here more very soon with my friends.....a little closer now! Squirrels are revolting, they want to be shot and posted ....and I want to please them!

Where I am tonight...

Where I was on June the 2nd...it has been a long hard battle.....more than meets the eye for sure, including two days under my home in a crawl space only 16 inches high doing all new plumbing.

Hope to be back her often and soon!

Best Regards
Rupert

16" crawl space - too bad Otis and friends couldn't take a shot of you!

Very nice work - I'm sure you enjoy that new bathroom for years to come.

And thanks for the update - about every other day my wife asks about Otis......

Otis is alive and well, but not out and about much in this daily 105F++ Texas heatwave we have been having for over a month now. I buy a bag of ice every day and he carries some up to his home nest and lines it, then just sleeps on it until it melts and comes back for more.
All the Girly Squirrels are now going buck naked, so I am uneasy about posting them here.....I got so many complaints last time...

Tell your wife that as soon as I get this bathroom finished, Otis will do a Special Set of shots just for her! I'll get him a six pack of cold beer and he will pose all day!

Best Regards & Thanks!

Very cool! I really like the first shot. It is always my favorite room in any house!

On the other hand, maybe you had the house constructed for a very overweight person?

Thanks Tracy...I am not too good with the Rokinon, haven't used it enough to learn its best settings. No fat people here! I've gained a few pounds over the years, but Mrs Rupert still weighs the same 122 lbs she did 45 years ago.

Sure will be glad to finish this project and get back to shooting again! It has been a nightmare. I think it will turn out OK, but it has been a back breaker. Getting old is not a lot of fun...if you are young, I hope you live long enough to understand...and if you are old ...you do understand!

Best Regards!

Just got the doors up! Just some paint on the entry door and install the hardware......and I will be back out there with my K5 shooting things I love.....like this spider I shot late last night outside my shop door.....
[IMG] [/IMG]

So...how is it looking? A little too "girly" for me, but I let Mrs Rupert help in the decoration and design.....I wanted a long pee trough and a keg with cold beer, TV, and some nice magazines.....with Squirrels in them...of course!

Best Regards!
