My first bird shot with K-5 camera....
Lens: SMC 400mm f/5.6 Camera: K-5 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F8
Posted By: igor, 07-11-2011, 08:36 AM

it's a Male Little Bittern, shot with my new K-5 and an old manual focus SMC 400mm f/5.6 lens.
Shot handheld, standing in water on one foot

Still like my first take, hope you enjoy it too

Thanks!

Nice shot Igor.

I have an old M 400/5.6

No way do I get a shot like this hand held with that lens on my K10.

The K5 is rapidly moving from a want to a need.

Charlie, thanks much! Considering the recent price drop the K-5 is now very affordable and worth every penny!

Nicely done and the K5 looks like a winner with that lens combination. JIM

thanks much Jimbo, I imagine how much better the shot would look with a FA 300mm f/2.8 !
