Where I live the difference between high and lwo tide is between 2.5 and 3.5 meters or so, which on its own is something to be aware of when anchoring up.
Add the potential danger of ice flakes like the one in the background.
Two possible explanations, as far as we were able to see.
Most likely he was anchored on top of a large underwater boulder just to the right of where he now lies. which at low tide is just under the surface, that would have caused the boat to tilt, flod and sink.
Or he might have been grazed by medium sized iceflake, given the surounding it is not quite as likely, but uphere it is always a risk.
A meetup in Greenland can easily be arranged. I have the contacts to set everything up, but the challenge would be the cost.
If there is enough interest and commitment I will gladly do the work to set it all up.
