Nice shot.

I feel that the outer region is somehow dark and overwhelming although the centre of the photo is the real focus. I wonder if you could crop slightly the edges all around to have less darker surface areas around. Otherise gres shot and nice contrasting colours in the centre.

The idea of the dark outer edges is the mist coming in out of the darkness and casting it's own light.

eaglem, the dark outer edges is an excellent idea IMHO and I fully appreciate the thrust of the shot. I feel simply that the combined dark surface area (altogether) is possibly too large, for example compare dto your great shot "Frangipanis".
