Just thinking of my brother "Joe"
Lens: Pentax 18-250 Camera: Pentax k20-Canon A1-Miranda Photo Location: various

Jer made a nice comment about my brother's Ford collection that I had posted in another thread. Jer- "Interesting collection - I'll bet I would have liked your brother"
and it made me a little melancholy but bringing a smile to me at the same time.Joe was more of a gear head than me and around 1967 he had a 55 Chevy powered by GTO tri-power motor. The last picture of him was taken at the very end of May 2009 and he passed on June 18th of that year. His wife Gloria died 1 1/2 years prior.I hope that this little tribute lasts forever out there in cyber space until we meet again.--charliezap

Charlie, for you to post this tribute to your brother and you being such a loving and thoughtful brother, I think that Joe is smiling down on you right now. Did you know that you never miss a powershift on the big dragstrip in the sky? Bob

When you mentioned "powershift" another memory came back.My brother could never keep a transmission in that beast. He was always blowing the input shaft off the trany.Good thing we lived next door to Cap's Auto Wrecking in Lynn where my part time job was to watch the place for awhile after business hours.--charliezap

Now I know I would have like your brother, Capn. I'm always in awe of folks that have the capability and the moxie to build a car like that.

I'm an only child - I often wonder what it would have been like to have a brother or sister.
