Waterfront teleview
Lens: DA55-300mm Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Norway, Finnmark ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8

The skies weren't very clear which gave the layering of the mountains a nice soft touch. But they were rather distant so I used 300mm for this landscape. Wide angle has its uses but sometimes I like the compression effect this lens gives me.

Remco, I like the "feel" of this landscape, especially the trees and brush around the water. the 300mm was a good choice here. thanks Bob

Yep landscape is not always taken @ 12mm for sure. The bushes in the lower right are a little distracting , other than that I like the shot.

Thanks Bob! Last year I was trying my hand at little bit of birding in the mountains with this lens but there weren't any birds. So I used it for a landscape. Accidentally with the lens wide open and that did open my eyes for these kind of photo's and this year I went looking for opportunities' like this.
