Here are a few shots from our newborn child, born prematurely at 34 weeks. Apart from being smaller than usual for the time being, he's perfectly healthy and strong!

Congratulations, bdery! Soak up every moment as they grow up far too quickly. Some excellent captures there.

Thanks for the feedback! (and the congratulations...)

These series made me realize I lack a proper backdrop for studio-like shots. I just used the white blankets from our bed for some of those. The B&W are my favourite too, they were shot in front of a green wall, with a lowish ceiling. Bouncing the AF280T did the trick.

Just perfect. I don't think I've ever seen this incredible experience photographed so well.

Jer, that's one heck of a compliment! Thanks.

I'm still trying to improve, though, and I'm sure I will.

Beautiful pictures and an even more beautiful child! He is precious - I just love the one of him on his tummy. The one with his mommy (I'm assuming) is also wonderful!

Congratulations to you and your family. Enjoy your sweet little boy! As daacon said, you'll take about 4 million more pictures as he grows.

It IS a cliché, but still, it's the first time WE get that shot

Yes, it's the mother. He was ludicrously small at the time (less than 5 pounds...)
