Hi there, fellow Pentaxians

Just wanted to show a picture of my oldest daughter, Charlotte.
Used the Lensbaby Muse with f/4 aperture ring attached.

Natural light only, used a 80cm reflector to direct some of the sunbeams onto her.

I participate with this photography in a local newspaper`s summer-photo competition (which I won last year btw)

"Selbu" is the place where they make the mittens Charlotte is wearing. It`s also an expression for clothes made in that certain pattern.

The contrasts between the summer-feeling to the picture, and what reveals the actual temperature outside (cold fingers...) is what fascinates me and made me want to capture this motive.

Trying to improve my general portrait-skills still

I`d be thrilled to get some feedback on this picture!

I quite like it - the blur background adds to the shot.

Very nice. I cropped off some extra background for balance. Hope you don't mind :-)

Thank you so much for nice words, guys

The suggested cropping is definitively a good idea, SpecialK...
(no problem btw)
