Dave.... I shot that first one using the "reverse film" setting on the K5. Try some of the filtered settings and see what you think? Some are pretty decent and fun if you do a little post processing.
The second was a t the "vivid" setting, which I use most often.
It is sure nice to be able to get some speed and not have much concern for the ISO setting. I use Tav almost all the time, and let ISO go to 12,800 if needed. I find this works good...for me.
