Nice shots, for sure - I can just smell the sulfurous fumes! Yellowstone is a wonderful place.

I was watching the Ken Burns dvd series about our National Parks last night and I saw some of these same photos! Especially #1 and #2. Well done. My wife and I plan to visit Yellowstone next year.

Wonderful work. Nicely captured, different composition than what we're used to seeing.

If you have any soul for the wonders of nature, then I can recommend at least three days in Yellowstone National Park.

Just a quick story and a few more images while I have the attention of some.

As I was walking around Artist Point, enjoying the view, taking pictures and making some observations of others, a woman stopped me and asked if I would take a picture for her. She had her male companion seated and wanted a better shot of the two of them in front of the grand scenery. As she handed me her Nikon camera, her male companion quipped, "Be careful, honey. He is a Pentax fan. He might drop your camera on purpose."
"No I would not drop your camera. I'll just make your pictures look like shit." was what I thought about saying but instead my reply was, "Oh, no. I would not do that". But you see, he started it!
And those steps going down to the Lower Falls near Uncle Tom's Cabin were really not that steep until you had to climb up them.
