Some from the pier
Lens: 18-55mm WR Camera: K20d Photo Location: Penarth Pier

I've photographed this pier a few times now and wanted some alternative views and perspectives

All taken with the K20d and the 18-55mm WR, decided to give it an airing out. All images with poloriser

I've got to agree with the others here. Nice pictures and a testament to the "kit" lenses, as well as your eye. Although I sold my 18-55 and 50-200 in favour of a DA*16-50 plus prime limiteds, I look back at the photos I took with them and occasionally marvel at the value for money they gave.

First one is a terrific composition. Curve leads the eye to all the way in.

That first shot is brilliant - not only the composition, but the B&W conversion has . . . . . something . . . . . . that is simply perfect. My hat's off to you.

I liked first shot the most, other pictures are nice too, especially that vacant bench. Nice job!!!

Wow thank you all I agree the kit lens is still a super peice of kit and very capable of producing fantastic results

Yep, square crop and vacant are effectively simple captures.
Good work on the conversions also.
