Finally got out into the backyard.....
Lens: DFA 2.8 100 mm macro Camera: K 5

......and the first thing that I run into is this alien:


and than this Flesh Fly agreed to pose for a few seconds:


This one wanted his picture taken but wouln't give his name:


This one was the quiet type but just by looking at him one knows that he is a cat-faced orb weaver:

Great shots Heinrich, those are just plain scary looking. I think I will stay in the desert where all we have our rattlesnakes, scorpions and tarantula's.

super captures....the spider is quite interesting...glad i can view it here instead of face to face..dave m

Great series of shots showing a lot of detail as macro shots should. Well done.

Amazing shots as always Heinrich. If that spider was around here, I don't think it would last for another shot!

Thank you Charlie, for whatever reasons there are not many bugs around this year but oh so many birds and that might be the reason.

Thank you Tracy, there are probably some around there as well but unless you look for them you won't see them.This one was no more than 4mm across the body.
