Bird of Prey
Lens: Sigma 70-300 apo Camera: K20d Photo Location: home ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F11

The Blue Jays and the other birds were making quite the racket the other morning. It wasn't long before there concern was revealed.

Thanks Dave. Yes he/she noticed me but by the look I was getting it seemed to indicate "get lost, can you not see I'm focusing on dinner". I think I might of been a distraction.

A little soft - 1/60s kinda slow for reliable sharpness - but the lighting, glow and composition are wonderful.

Thanks for the comment Luftfluss. It was shot hand held at the 300mm end but, that being said, the results were descent. Actually I did adjust the sharpness a bit after your post and re-posted the shot.

very nice shot in what appears to have been a difficult situation for a nice exposure etc!
