Here's my latest stack.

Thanks to Yeatzee's tips, the quality of my stacked images improved a lot. (Thanks Yeatzee!) I still need to tweak the lighting A LOT, though! Didn't get to that yet.

It's a K5, with four PK macro extension tube sets, and a reversed EL Nikkor 50mm f4.

Was this a live bug ,bet he's blind now . That's an impressive set up ,and you say you hand hold this to take shots !!! take my hat of to you sir....

No no, this is a stacked shot. The fly has to sit perfectly still while I take 130 pictures. And it needs to be dead for that. I used a tabletop ballhead to firmly mount my camera and slide on the table.
