Bob, I know you have and do travel most everywhere, and I find all your shots most interesting and delightful, but my favorites are always the desert areas. The wide open views and sense of freedom and space draw my attention......even in my own life, when I think of traveling, my mind always drifts to the desert areas of America.

Ever made it to Big Bend?

Rupert, we have been there a couple of times and stay at the National Park campground. I have to agree about the openness of the desert, it is also our favorite place to visit, no matter what state the desert is in. Big Bend is a lot like the desert here in the high desert area of Nevada. The desert also has the best sunsets. thanks for commenting, always appreciated. Bob

Wow - great catch, Bob. The "burning" edge along the furthest mountain range is something I've never seen. Amazing.
