Macro Testing my new DFA 100mm macro WR

Testing my new DFA 100mm macro WR · 06:17 PM

Just got it a few days ago... and now I've had the time to experiment a bit with it. The flower shots are lit with the AF280T, the eye shots with the same flash bounced. Enjoy and feel free to comment! These are not perfect, but more of a test run.

Have you had a chance to use it as a regular mid-telephoto lens yet? I'm currently planning to add this to my kit at some point in the not-so-distant future, but only if it is livable as more than a macro lens.

It's actually very good as a short tele. That was one important reason for replacing my FA50 macro with this one. In the tele range, it focuses very fast (shorter throw) and quite accurately. It's a very good dual purpose lens from what I have seen sonfar.
